Alternative Rotations
This is a 4-month (18-week) course dedicated to spinning fans around alternative axes, breaking you out of standard 2D planes and introducing deep, mesmerizing 3D flow.
You won’t just learn isolated tricks; this masterclass provides a detailed, step-by-step breakdown of how to spin your fans around alternative axes, how to seamlessly combine these axes with one another, and how to integrate them with your “classic” flat spins and weaves.
Module 1: Z-axis rotation, Yawing
Module 2: Y-axis rotation, Pitching
Module 3: Combining rotations in different axes
Module 4: Final combinations of elements

Introduction
Introduction to alternative axes spinning
-
Module 1: Z-axis rotation, Yawing
This module breaks down the fundamentals of Z-axis rotation. It covers the basic mechanics of yawing with a single fan, progresses to synchronized two-fan yawing, and concludes with seamlessly combining yawing with classic spins.
-
Module 2: Y-axis rotation, Pitching
This module focuses on the fundamentals of Y-axis rotation. It details the core mechanics of pitching with a single fan, advances to coordinated two-fan pitching, and finishes with integrating pitching movements into classic spins.
-
Module 3: Combining rotations in different axes
This module explores how to layer and connect rotations across multiple axes. It starts with combining Y and Z axes, moves on to integrating the X-axis with Y and Z, and culminates in full three-axis rotations. The module concludes with Flaps and Snakes — complex elements that bring all the learned axis combinations together.
-
Module 4: Final combinations of elements
This module brings everything together by presenting ready-made combinations of the elements learned in previous modules. It focuses on linking alternative axis rotations and classic spins into continuous, fluid sequences.
